Recently, Sir John was delighted to join staff, customers and local representatives to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Chillies Indian Fusion Restaurant in South Woodham Ferrers
The celebration took place on Wednesday 6th May and included a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Kam, the restaurant’s proprietor, alongside members of staff and customers who have supported the business over the years. Cllr Bob Massey also paid a warm tribute to Chillies on behalf of the town, acknowledging that, for two decades, Chillies Indian Fusion Restaurant has served residents and visitors to South Woodham Ferrers. They have built a strong local reputation and become a familiar part of the town’s high street and social life.
Independent businesses such as Chillies continue to play an important role in supporting local employment, encouraging visitors to the area and contributing to the character of communities across Essex.
