This week, Sir John attended the BBC Make a Difference Awards in Chelmsford, where he was delighted to congratulate Anna Dunk and Rowan Dally of Three Flying Fish, based in Burnham-on-Crouch, who won the Fundraising Award.
Three Flying Fish rowed the Atlantic in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust, raising funds for the charity through their challenge.
The award recognises the fundraising efforts of Three Flying Fish following their Atlantic rowing challenge and highlights the contribution of the Burnham on Crouch team.
