Sir John Whittingdale MP attended the Air Ambulance’s Annual Parliamentary Reception in the House of Commons this week, where he met representatives of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.
During the event, Sir John learned more about the charity’s CPR Smart programme, which provides free CPR training to schools across Essex and Hertfordshire.
The programme is designed to equip young people with potentially life-saving skills through CPR education and training.
Following the reception, Sir John welcomed the initiative and expressed his hope that schools across the local area would take advantage of the opportunity to participate in the programme.
