John Whittingdale MP joined other Members of Parliament in signing the book of solidarity, to show his unwavering support for Ukraine, and to honour the inspiring bravery of the Ukrainian people in the face of unjust violence and aggression.
The signed Book of Solidarity will be sent to Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Parliament of Ukraine- to send the message that the UK will always offer steadfast support and friendship. 
Mr Whittingdale wrote:
“I have visited Ukraine many times and am deeply saddened by the tragedy unfolding as a result of the wholly unprovoked and illegal Russian Invasion. The courage of the Ukrainian people is inspiring and we in the UK Parliament are united in standing in support of them, their country and democracy. We are all Ukrainian Today.”
