Sir John Whittingdale, MP for Maldon along with 34 other colleagues, signed a letter to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, urging her to continue the provision of The Listed Places of Worship (LPW) Grant Scheme.
The scheme enables thousands of churches and other places of worship to be preserved for the future.
