Sir John Whittingdale visited Cousins UK in Galliford Road Industrial Estate, Maldon.
Having been started by Anthony Cousins’ father as a small watch repairers in East London, the company moved to Maldon and is now Europe’s largest wholesaler of watch parts, tools and equipment to the watch repair trade. It holds over 12 million items in stock and employs around 50 local workers at its modern distribution facility.
Sir John met Anthony Cousins and his son (pictured) to discuss how to support the company in their battle against restrictive trade practices imposed by the Swiss watch industry.
