John Whittingdale blew the horn to start the 10 mile race at the Edmund Carr Great Baddow Charity Races. Around 830 runners took part, raising money for a variety of local charities.
Having started the main race, John Whittingdale then joined others to take part in the 2 Mile Fun Run recording a somewhat unimpressive tme of 16 minutes! John is pictured with the Mayor and Mayoress of Chelmsford and Robert Cappin of the Rotary Club of Chelmsford Mildmay who organised the Races.
