been taking part in the Sir David Amess Children\u2019s Parliament UK.<\/p><p>The pupils, elected by their respective schools, travelled to London to take part in a debate in Parliament and meet children from other schools participating in the initiative.<\/p><p>During their visit, Sir John gave some of the pupils a tour of Westminster Hall and answered their questions about Parliament and democracy.<\/p><p>The visit provided an opportunity for the young representatives from local schools to experience Parliament and learn more about how democratic processes work.<\/p><p>Sir John welcomed the opportunity to meet the pupils and hear their questions as they took part in the Sir David Amess Children\u2019s Parliament
