Abortion\u00a0is an incredibly emotive issue, and I understand the strength of feeling on all sides.\u00a0The Crown Prosecution Service has also acknowledged that these exceptionally rare cases are complex and traumatic.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through the\u00a0Abortion\u00a0Act, all women have access\u00a0to\u00a0safe\u00a0abortions on the NHS,\u00a0up\u00a0to\u00a024 weeks. Women are also able\u00a0to\u00a0take\u00a0abortion\u00a0pills at home\u00a0up\u00a0to\u00a0ten\u00a0weeks of pregnancy.
