John Whittingdale and 12 of his colleagues have signed a second letter to Energy Minister, Greg Hands, putting forward our increasing concerns with National Grid and their handling of the East Anglia GREEN proposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is very clear John’s constituents support an offshore grid option that would protect our local countryside and communities- however this has not been listened to by National Grid when these views were overwhelmingly expressed in the public consultation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John agrees that the consultation should be opened back up, so all the options can be discussed again, properly- and fairly, like similar proposals in other parts of the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
